Bio

Pasquale Strizzi, originally from Bari, Italy, began studying piano at age of three. He soon started studying jazz, and, at the same time attended the Conservatory “Niccolò Piccini” pursuing a diploma in classical music. By age nine he was attending jazz master classes and competitions, winning a series of rewards and scholarships that finally brought him to attend the Berklee Summer Clinics at Umbria Jazz, where he won the highest scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. At sixteen years old, Pasquale had already played at many of the most important jazz festivals and clubs with some of the most renown artist in Italy, such as: Giovanni Tommaso, Paolino dalla Porta, Fabrizio Sferra, Giuseppe Bassi, Lorenzo Tucci and many others.
After graduating High School with a diploma in Computer Science, Pasquale immediately moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music where he immediately started playing with some of the most talented musician, such as: Alex Han, Melissa Aldana, Mark Withfield Jr, Evan Marien, Massimo Buonanno, Serghio Jansen, and many others. During his years of college he specialized in composition, production and arrangement. In 2011 he is the only piano player to be selected to be part of the high level performance program “Berklee Global Jazz Institute” directed by world renowned pianist and composer Danilo Perez.
Pasquale has played with world famous musicians, such as: Wayne Shorter, John Patitucci, Ben Street, Meshell Ndegeocello, Dave Liebman, Terry Line Carrington, David Gilmore, Greg Osby, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, etc.
He gained a great deal of experience in the professional world of music by writing jingles, producing songs, composing and arranging for large ensemble, and working as piano accompanist for the vocal department at Berklee College of Music. He has been a music educator for Jazz master classes in Italy. Pasquale has been working as a Studio Musician for the Film Scoring Department at Berklee College of Music. He has been performing around the world at some of the most important music events.
Today, at 24 years old, Pasquale Strizzi is a very experienced and accomplished musician.
