Passerbye is an Alternative R&B, Hip-Hop, Electronica mash up from Houston, Texas with the goal of mixing styles. After getting an illness that took him away from making music and even working full time, group frontman DC began seeing more live shows in Houston from rock to hip-hop to dance. The project originally started as a side project for frontman DC to teach himself basic production skills and beatmaking at home as he slowly recovered from his illness. After seeing artists rapping and singing live to a single track like karaoke, the band came together to try to bring a live "full band" energy. After one of the songs was featured on an iHeart Radio station in Houston,Texas for several weeks straight, DC decided to assemble a live group to perform the songs at shows. Even though the group has been together a short time, they quickly amassed 1500 followers on Instagram and have been working hard to churn out music and get the word out there ever since - Urban crown music
