Bio
Henry E Dixon is the first son and the third child of the late Edward Dixon Jr., and Victoria B. Dixon. He was born in the Saw Mill Section of Cordesville, SC, on January 2, 1950.
He was educated in the Berkeley County School System and graduated from the Berkeley Training High School in 1969. He furthered his studies at Trident Technical College, North Charleston, SC, and Cummings Theological Seminary, Summerville, SC.
On September 3, 1973, it was prophesied that Pastor Dixon would be the founder and pastor of Truth Tabernacle which later became a reality on February 2, 1975. The church is now known as Ministries of Truth Tabernacle. He has evangelized and preached all over South Carolina and throughout the United States.
Pastor Dixon was privileged to record his first CD project entitled "Old Time Country Church featuring Pastor Dixon and Truth Tabernacle" in 2007. In 2009, "Old Time Country Church was nominated for the Prestige Award at the North Carolina Radio Announcers Guild in Greenville, NC. Time Life Music Department selected the song “Oh, Lord, I'm Asking You One More Time” to be included on their hit CD project, "Shouting Down The Aisle".
Pastor Dixon is the full time pastor of Ministries of Truth Tabernacle and the Overseer of Universal Tabernacle Ministries, Inc. He is also a member of the North Carolina Radio Announcers’ Guild and the Gospel Music Workshop of America. Pastor Dixon is married to the former Prince E. Crawford. They have four sons – Arturo, Ronald, Omar and one “adopted” son, Jody Moffett. He has two brothers and three sisters.
