Pastor Joe - His Touch Ministry

I first learned the power and promise of music at the age of 5. It was then my Uncle gave me a 78rpm record player. Musical influences of the time were Tennessee Ernie Ford, Chubby Checker, and Johnny Cash. In my high school years I was designated lead singer for a band my friends and I formed named, "Forbidden Consent." More than 10 years later, in 1986, the Lord of heaven and earth introduced Himself to me and took me in. Along with His promise of love and relationship came the joy of singing for Him. For the next 25 years I sang cover songs never once considering writing my own material. Then on August 30th, 2008, the heaven's were opened. In my first week I wrote 6 songs. In a month and a half I wrote 17 songs, and in four months I wrote 21 songs. Recently, in just over a year's time, I finished writing my 32nd song. Three of my selections, consecutively, have made the Top 100 on Christian Country Radio nationwide with Power Source Music, and I have been named among the Top 10 nominees for 2009 ICM Songwriter of the Year with Power Source Music.
