Bio

Pastor Johnnie Vaughan Jr. was anointed from childhood to work mightily in the Kingdom of God. He is a native of Trenton New Jersey and is known for his strong psalmist, preaching and revelatory teaching anointing which destroys yokes and removes burdens.

He has been assisting other artists to realize their purpose in God for decades. His mellow tenor to high alto range qualifies him to sing songs which normally would be a strain for others. He was an original member of Gospel recording artists, Devoted and recorded on Saavoy/Maalaco, “Devoted: Let’s Go Back” (1993), and “A Christmas Celebration” (1994).

Pastor Vaughan was a musical guest on The Bishop’s Choir of Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries CD singing, “Old Time Way (2001) and “God Has Been Good To Me” (2004), Jeff Murrell’s Destiny project singing “Under the Shadow” (2005) and on Bishop David G. Evans’ “Healed Without Scars” project singing “Say Yes” (2005). He also appeared on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) with Bishop Evans for their Praise the Lord telecast (2005 and 2006).

On March 13, 2006 Pastor Vaughan released his first solo project, “PURPOSE” which highlights his musical ability and talent-portraying his many dimensions and styles of singing. This project will minister to your soul and reflect his roots which he has not forgotten or compromised. These and all of the other songs will take you on a musical journey of wholeness and deliverance.

He says, “The title cut, PURPOSE, speaks to every artist who is struggling to either find or fulfill PURPOSE in their lives. You’ll be miserable until PURPOSE is out of you. Submit your way to God in order to discover that all of the resources you’ll need are inside of you; access those available resources that are all around you; and finally, work it!

He has worked with Milton Bingham, The Anointed Pace Sisters, Carnell Murrell, William Becton, Kirk Franklin and GA Mass Choir.
