Bio
Pat Carey grew up near Boston in a big , low budget family dominated by the dozen girls that make up his mom's side of the family. His dad's side comes from Revere, MA where his grandfather started the Kelly's Roast Beef chain; legend has it Pat's grandfather invented the roast beef sandwich.
Pat now lives with his girlfriend and son in LA, working as a stand-up comic and pursuing a career in TV and Film. Since Pat is not married, his dad refers to "his son and his partner." All Pat's old friends in Boston assume he's gay. Pat instead claims that he's living in sin with a girl that we know he has had sex with, at least once, producing their bastard child. His son Wyatt is a sweet kid, just technically a bastard because of his unwed dad and his baby momma.
Pat's first book is entitled Growing Up Irish Catholic, and Surviving My Mom's Eleven Sisters. He is currently writing TV pilots and features.
