BandPopAdult Contemporary

My music brings brings a modern spin on folk rock. The songs are extremely touching, warm, and catchy. It only takes a brief listen to get hooked on the charm that is Pat Frankfort.

Biography

Patrick Frankfort has been bleeding his soul into songs for 15 years. Critics have compared his voice to George Michael with a smooth undertone of James Taylor. Nothing but good, old fashioned honest musical poetry, that’s the goal of every Patrick Frankfort song. He brings sweet melodies with just enough harmony to tame the ears of all who listen.

His music reflects the sweet southern charm that has brought his music from small town North Carolinia to the clubs of NYC. He can often be found at Don’t Tell Mama, the Duplex, and especially at the Mean Fiddler. He wears his passions on his sleeves and brings them out in his
songs with the reflections of huge influences such as Ben Folds, James Taylor, Dillon Fence, and BNL, to name a few.

There’s a great buzz around his latest single, " Just Yet."

Lyrics

Just Yet

Written By: Pat Frankfort

A smile invites my heart
To make it's way towards a brand new start
But should i hold back for now
Or let these feelings out
These feelings rush my way
Millions of things
That I must say
But fear, it clouds my mind
So Baby, just give it time

Chorus
Hold back the words
With worlds of regret
Time will hold what feelings won't forget
So please wait, and don't get upset
Cause I can't say "I love you"
Just yet

What's come over me
Everywhere I look
You're all I see
I'm told to slow it down
But, I know what I've found

Chorus:

Bridge:
Should I let you in?
It's always hard to begin
Will it be denied
Or will you just leave me
Like all the others before,
Before, before
I get it right

Chorus:

Into You

Written By: Pat Frankfort/John Barwick

I watch you as you're sleeping
You're dreaming, let me in
Oh, cause I can't wait to fall again,
Into you
I'm thinking we'd be something
Forever, if not for this
Oh, cause I can't wait to fall again,
Into you
B
You never changed a bit, my friend
When will this fantasy come to an end
In the end there's no doubt
You were right on time

C
And you came crashing down
Into me

Nothing

Written By: Pat Frankfort

Take this cross off me
I'm not who she thought I'd be.
Took her just long enough
To take me in and chew me up.
Oh Lord.
Maybe it's better this way.
We'll reassess these roles
That we play

Chorus:
And she asked me
What's it all about
And I can't say, I couldn't say
And she told me
It's time to figure out
And I can't say
So I said "Nothing"

Shall I question my soul
It'll only tell me what
I already know
(to) Run away and hide
And be lost alone with your pride

Chorus

Bridge:
What am I supposed to say?
Girl, it's fine
I'll be all right
Just give it time
Don't give up this fight.
They're just tears
It's only pain
Let's waste these years
And go insane
And she asked me

Chorus

Shame

Written By: Pat Frankfort

Chorus:
Well, it's a shame, shame, shame
you never call
What's your game, game, game
My baby doll.
It's a shame, shame, shame
I had to fall
Now I'm in pain, pain, pain
And I'll take it all.

There seems to be no limit
When it comes to feeling low
And it seems I'm always in it
And out of the dough
Will she ever deliver
That I'll never know
It's the meal of a sinner
With no place to go

Chorus

Well, I thought I met a lovely
But she's playing me
And things are getting ugly
Lord, she brought me to my knees
Now there's spiders in my sugar
And glass in my tea
Toast the drink of a winner
Of this recent tragedy

Chorus
