Their sound melds jazz-influenced drums with groove-based bass, over which lay melodic vocals and grandiose guitar riffs. It's got something going on; after less than a year and a half, Path Aesthetic has played well-known venues such as CBGBs and Grape Street.
If you could play any venue anywhere on the planet, where would you choose?
Mike: Radio City Music Hall. It's acoustically a real nice room; it's big, but it's not too big, so it's still a little intimate. I think it's really important thing to not play on a stage that's so big that there's a disconnect. A room like that allows for the best performance.
AJ: I was going to say Madison Square Garden. Madison Square Garden, to me, is the pinnacle of success.

Bio
For those who are dependant on labels, stereotypes and structure. Path Aesthetic has been told it falls within the "art-rock" category. Employing groove-oriented bass licks, hard hitting jazz influenced drumming, spatial guitar riffs and over-the-top melodic vocal-manipulation, this collective is ever focused on its art. Path Aesthetic took shape in late 2005. Mike, Skott and AJ evolved as a unit, creating unique and energizing sonic soundscapes. Our intentions are to pull a fresh new sound and vibe from the wreckage of a now waterlogged music scene. The band has played at such notable venues as CBGB's, The Crocodile Rock Cafe, Grape Street, The Pontiac Grille and many places in-between.
