"Sofar Sounds secret lounge review"

Their sibling camaraderie is endearing, so it’s no surprise that their performance is as charming as their playful quips. Eliza has a sultry, husky voice with a strength that precedes her tiny frame, weaving in and out of James’ bluesy vocals. - everguide.com.au

Bio

During one typically long dry Perth Summer, siblings Eliza Rogers (Ruby Boots) and James Rogers (Harlequin League) decided to finally solidify a lifetime of 'family jams' and annual festive season sing-a-longs, into a side project called Patient Little Sister.
An acoustic combination of violin, guitar and two voices genetically predisposed to harmony, it wasn't long before people began to sit up and pay attention.
A year later with supports played for Old Man River, The Panda Band, San Sisco, Husband, Sonspilo Circus, The Atlas Mountains, The Love Junkies and Ruby Boots, Patient Little sister have earnt a spot on the bill for Rottofest 2012, a third placing in the Ampfest Competition, were handpicked for the Grand Finale of the Path to Laneway Competition, and were one of only four WA acts to be invited to Adelaide this year for Fuse Festival 2012, which showcases and promotes new and upcoming bands from around Australia.
The last few months have seen the Duo pick up a rhythm section, head out of town for their first bout of regional shows, and finalise a selection of recordings ready for release in the form of a debut EP.
Keep an eye and an ear out for this Perth Quartet, as they're only just getting started.

"Eliza’s sweet husky vocal tones and onstage openness are endearing and engaging and, when coupled with brother James’ Dylan-esque vocal phrasing and sensitive guitar playing, make for a gentle and captivating sound." -fasterlouder

"Patient Little Sister is definitely a great outfit for a quiet Sunday afternoon at the pub and, in the current climate of folk-revivalism, there’s no question that this duo has timed its emergence to perfection." -fasterlouder

"Patient Little Sister are a brother-sister, guitar-violin duo, creating the perfect combination of earthy acoustic tones and piercing overlay. With complementary, synchronized voices a few octaves apart, their guitar-violin duets seemed instrumental analogies of their vocal teamwork."- Alistair Baldwin
