Pat Lehman Band

Most recently Pat Lehman has signed an exclusive recording agreement with Justin Time Records and an exclusive songwriter deal with internationally known Bloc-Notes Publishing. Patrick Lehman has been writing songs since his early teen years. His influences include Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone and Bill Withers. In June of 2006 Patrick was asked to perform solo in the Paul Simon Tribute concert as part of the Montreal International Jazzfest in 2006. The outdoor concert, which drew a crowd of 150,000 people and which was aired on CBC nationally, inspired Patrick to form his own group.

2006 saw the birth of the Pat Lehman Band, as Patrick (then a singer-songwriter) teamed up with fellow Montreal musicians who shared a love for soul, funk and rock n' roll music. They aspired to leave their mark on Montreal's booming music scene.

Having performed all over Montreal, Toronto after releasing a four-song EP in 2006, Patrick Lehman and his band launched their first full length album to a packed house on May 27th 2007 at Petit Cafe Campus in Montreal. The album has received notable airplay across France, Quebec, Ontario, British Colombia, Vermont (US), and prompted Patrick to tour Ontario and Quebec in the summer 2008 - finishing up the tour with performances in the FestiBlues 2008 and Montreal FunkFest 2008.

Patrick has been working on his second album with notable Juno award winning producer Haig Vartzbedian (previously produced Bran Van 3000, Gage, Muzion), which is slated for a spring 2009 release.
"Pain Free" and Stop Pretending", 2 new singles from the eagerly anticipated album, have already been generating alot of buzz amongst fans and industry proffesionals alike.

Along with performing live on CTV as part of the 32nd Annual Telethon of the Stars, the song 'Stop Pretending' which was produced by Lehman himself, was recently placed in the TOP 5 of the Canadian Radiostar Songwriting Competition.
