Irish-American Fiddle, Guitar, and Songs
Fiddler Patrick Mangan and guitarist Ryan McGiver are a powerful duo, mixing spirited reels and jigs with Irish and American folk songs. Brooklyn-based Mangan is a two-time All Ireland champion and was mentored by Sligo fiddle legends such as Brian Conway, Tony DeMarco, Andy McGann, and Paddy Reynolds. At the age of sixteen, he appeared in Riverdance on Broadway, becoming the youngest fiddle player in the show's history. Since then, he has toured the world as the Riverdance fiddle soloist, performing in some of the most prestigious venues from New York to Paris to Tokyo.
Hailing from upstate New York, McGiver is also no stranger to the big stage. He tours with Grammy award winning vocalist Susan McKeown, and has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He is one of the most sought-after traditional accompanists on both sides of the Atlantic, playing both Irish and American music.
Together, Mangan and McGiver bring plenty of youthful vigor, feeling, and technical virtuosity to the stage. They have performed across the country to enthralled audiences and are a duo not to be missed!
