West Orange County Florida brought you a country music great such as John Anderson who's songs consist of Swingin', Seminole Wind, and Wild and Blue. In addition to this, on July 17 , 1982, another amazing artist was born into the same town, Patrick Gibson. A true native of the southern heritage, he followed the likeness of country music. Life not being so easy growing up, Patrick new it was up to him to make a difference for himself and his siblings. After the death of his grandfather, he was lost. an attempt to end his pain, luckily was not successful. That allowed him to forward his footsteps and eventually meet the love of his life, whom he found a second life with in!
His eyes were opened to his talents after writing his first piece and being recognized by those around him as a talented individual. It was in 2005 when he took off to Nashville to complete his first demo CD titled Florida. A 12 song album which consisted of 7 original songs. Returning to FL in 2006, Patrick knew what he had to do, make music and touch lives. He became an almost overnight success in his home grounds of central Florida, making headlines in local papers, opening up for majors and for writing songs with such emotion.
In 2008 Patrick had placed (2) of his songs in the top ten on the RED HOT SPOTLIGHT on Clear Channel radio WIKX Charlotte Harbor, Fl. Along with that he was also voted “ARTIST OF THE YEAR” on web-based radio” Q's House” and being the first and only country artist to do so. October 2008 became the date of his first ever “live” Nashville debut. Performing on Broadway in the heart of Nashville, TN at the well known CADILLAC RANCH, he was accepted by the entertainment industry and was asked to return during CRS 2009. Successfully but uncharted, 7500 copies of his first demo were put out and sold. His music is addictive and memorable and is a style only Patrick Gibson can wear.
A few years passed, the name being heard all over, and a fan base forming when a new wind blows, CD's are printed and put into 28 different McDonald's stores, non profits utilizing the power of his original material to touch lives, and bigger stages came along. There was not an empty venue at which PG would perform! What a ride! Patrick Gibson is a seeker of life one song at a time! Playing to sold out crowds and donating his time for charity and children, but still having the time for friends and family, he has a godspeed future ahead of him! Watch out for what this kid can offer!
