Patrick Junior, the conscious reggae singer /songwriter/ producer, is on a threshold of greatness without compromising his artistry or integrity. De Minister’s musical journey began as a singer at the age of twelve in the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and his positive, high- energy performances have been rocking the crowds ever since.

Patrick Junior, a.k.a. De Minister, scored his first massive hit in 1994 with the single “Shower Me with Jah Love”, followed by a string of critically acclaimed releases. In 1998, the track “If I’m Not Loving Jah”, taking from the Easy Star Volume 1 compilation, was in immense breakthrough. Patrick has his own among reggae royalty like Sugar Minott, Meditations, Sister Carol and Junior Demus, to name a few. Patrick Junior’s debut album Love Is The Message, co-produced by Courtney Panton and released in early 1999, showcases the singer’s brilliant compositions and commanding vocal styles that lead audiences requesting more, while ministering the message of love with good music and the innovative rhythms of spiritual upliftment.

Patrick Junior’s principles toward Christianity and Rastafarian lifestyle, governed by the teaching of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I, deeply influence De Minister, and are evidenced in his music in life. In 2001, the smash “Jesus Is The Same” celebrated the musician’s faith in Jesus Christ (Yesus Christos), and was featured on the block buster Reggae For Jesus Various Artist. This album also featured other notables like Luciano, Glen Washington, Richie Stephens, George Nooks and Ernie Smith.

In 2003 Patrick navigated the scene with releases such as “Unity” and “Don’t”, as well as the highly anticipated maxi-singles “Jah Will Provide” and “Mr. Terriost”, following in 2004 with the Innerview Mixtape Vol. 1. 2005. Patrick Junior dropped tunes like “Trodding (Tracks of Life)” and” Everlasting Work”, taken from the Shine Your Light compilation, creating a major buzz.

Spring 2006 Patrick performed in Jamaica among the GT Aggregation Sound Station, owned by Irie FM’s radio personality GT Taylor. Dubbed New York’s best summer festival, Patrick Junior received accolades for his performance , alongside Barrington Levy, at the Celebrate Brooklyn 28th Season at the Prospect Park Bandshell.

Following this career highlight, Patrick was swayed away to London, England, in honor of the 114th Birthday of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I, with headliners Morgan Hertiage.

Winter 2008 Patrick performed at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Twelve Tribe of Israel in Jamaica. There he shared the stage with many other Twelve Tribes artists including Taurus Riley, Morgan Heritage and Sugar Minott.

Patrick was then invited to perform and headline at the 2nd Annual Bushland Festival in Germany, alongside veteran Jamaican artist King Kong and a host of other international and German artists.

Fall 2008 De Minister released the sampler, Proud To Be Black EP, featuring Scepta, and De Minister is currently in the studio at work on his sophomore album More Love to be released Spring 2013.

Patrick Junior has toured the Caribbean, USA, Europe, Central America and Africa spreading the gospel of Christ through reggae music. Patrick and backing band Spiritual Upliftment, have graced dozens of stages with over 1,000 dates, including festivals, concerts, amphitheaters and charity events. Patrick also shares the bill with reggae icons like The Wailers, Beres Hammond, Freddie McGregor, Buju Banton, Capleton, Half Pint, Denroy Morgan, Fred Locks, Ken Boothe, Anthony B, Norris Man and Twelve Tribes of Israel acts.

With a consistent and extensive itinerary, De Minister continues to win over an ever-growing worldwide fan base with the teachings of Christ as the foundation.
