Fans of Sting and Cold Play would like Patrick Kahern. This guy has an amazing voice, great songwriting, and the music is...WOW! I'm a fan of Patrick Kahern's music.
My favorite song is "Dreamcatcher," a wonderfully blended concoction of great vocals,
melodies, rhythm guitars, and lyrical content. Then there's "Back Where I Belong,"
another solid tune that, if you didn't know it was Patrick you'd swear Sting was singing.
Overall, Patrick Kahern is a rock legend waiting to happen. Give him a listen and you'll
see exactly what I mean.

PATRICK K
Patrick K started playing music at the early age of thirteen. His Dad, a musician himself, taught him how to play the keyboards, and he immediately took to it. There was always a musical instrument at hand as his dad played in bands such as "The Arrivals” and “The Dukes of Jazz." The middle of five children, Patrick was the only sibling which exhibited a great love for music. From a young age, Patrick knew he wanted to be a musician. Patrick started his first band with his buddies called EXIT at the age thirteen. At the age of fifteen Patrick got into heavier music and started a punk band called STD in which he played bass. At the age of 18 Patrick was nearly killed in a terrible motorcycle accident. His injuries were severe and took him away from music, After a few failed band attempts he chose to take a different path in life and turned away from his musical dreams. Then, for reasons unknown, at the age of thirty three, Patrick suddenly picked up a guitar and taught himself some chords, and hasn’t put it down since. Finding writing music very theraputic, Patrick started writing songs inspired by his life, feelings and all of his experiences. His musical style has been inspired by his love of music. His musical range varies from straight rock, acoustic rock, to rock ballads. He also recorded a two song Christmas album for an Irish Homeless Charity released in 2008. He was recently awarded one finalist and three semi finalists awards for the well known UK Songwriting Competition. Constantly writing and recording new material he strives to be at the top of his game everyday. His debut CD "Strange Town" is now available on itunes and CdBaby...Enjoy
Patrick is currently his next CD in Los Angeles with producer Mikal Reid (Ben Harper, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Jessie McCartney..
and is really excited for its release in early 2011
