Patrick Kelly

Born and raised in Toronto, my keen interest in music and lack of academic discipline lead me head first into many grade/high school rock bands where I cut my teeth on 12 bar blues progressions, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Radiohead and a host of other 90's cover tunes. Everything from Elton John and Supertramp to the Allman Brothers, Eagles, Stones and Zeppelin, I always had the same indescribable feeling when listening to my musical heros.

For me, music is about telling a story, in a way that is non-linear, passionate and meaningful. Whether it's heartbreak, teenage angst, longing for a place and time you haven't found, I want to capture those moments and express them in the hopes it resonates with people and they find a reason to believe in what I write.

Whether alone on a solo stage with an acoustic guitar or piano or in a three piece rock group I want to perform so people look at me and are convinced that I have something important and meaningful to say.
