WHEN I GO HOME

Written By: Patrick L. Schiller

Whenever I’m alone
And I need a place to go
I look outside my window
And suddenly I’m back home

It’s a place that I know
And everyone knows my name
My emotions come over me
As I review every frame

When I go home
I’m overwhelmed by it
Then I realize
All the love in it
Cause everything I do
Reminds me of a time that I once knew
When I go home
When I go back home

My home knows heartache
With perils and strife
And everything was possible
Looking at my life

When I go home
I’m overwhelmed by it
Then I realize
All the love in it
Cause everything I do
Reminds me of a time that I once knew
When I go home
When I go back home

I held on to my memories
And I reminisced awhile
I thought about my family
And when I was a child

There’s a light that shines down on me
And it feels so warm and so fine
It seems to be telling me
That I’m doin’ just fine

When I go home
I’m overwhelmed by it
Then I realize
All the love in it
Cause everything I do
Reminds me of a time that I once knew
When I go home
When I go back home
When I go back home

JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES

Written By: Patrick L. Schiller

Every once in a while, I believe
There are somethings that are meant to be
Every road that I take, that I’ve gone down
Leads me back, leads me back, to you

There’s a place in my soul where my dreams are stored
Don’t you know that everything turns out right
I go there to revive all my feelings deep inside
And I know that I will always find you there

Just close your eyes and I’ll be there
Just close your eyes and I’ll be there with you

As the light of the day, slips thru my fingers
Another day goes by I would be lost without you
So, I sing you this song, to let you know
How much I need you, wherever I go

Just close your eyes and I’ll be there
Just close your eyes and I’ll be there with you

There’s a place in my soul where my dreams are stored
Don’t you know that everything turns out right
I go there to revive all my feelings deep inside
And I know that I’ll always find you there

Just close your eyes and I’ll be there
Just close your eyes and I’ll be there
With you, with you, with you, with you, with you

OFF DAY BLUES

Written By: Patrick L. Schiller

Woke up this morning
Washed and shaved my face
Look outside my window
And all I saw was rain
Look like this man don’t work today.
Had to find something to chase
Those off day blues away
Those off day blues away
I keep chasin those off day blues away

Grabbed my coat and my guitar
And I headed down to the local bar
Got to jammin’ with the local few
And I settled down to some welcome brew
This man was glad that it rained today
With the blues all gone
I was sure to find my way
With those off day blues away
I keep chasin those off day blues away

It’s just a feelin’ that I get
Deep within my soul.
It drains my mind
And I start to lose control.

I keep chasin those off day blues away.
I keep chasin those off day blues away.

It’s just a feelin’ that I get
Deep within my soul.
It drains my mind
And I start to lose control.

Now that the day was over
And tomorrow looms ahead
I got beneath my covers
And I just prayed for rain again
Cause a man with music in his soul
Chases the blues away with rock and roll
With those off day blues way
I keep chasin those off day blues away

It’s just a feelin’ that I get
Deep within my soul.
It drains my mind
And I start to lose control.

ON CHRISTMAS DAY

Written By: Patrick L. Schiller

I was sitting by the fireplace
Alone on Christmas Eve
I wonder how I could have change things
To have you here with me
As the day went by
It was you that I wish for on Christmas Day

But you broke my heart
In all the wrong places
You took my dreams
My dreams went away with you
I don’t have
I just don’t have all the answers
So I’ll keep wishing
I’ll keep wishing for you

Christmas is the time of year
For love ones to be near
It isn’t Christmas any more
It wasn’t all the gifts
We shared along the way
It was you that I wished for
Oh, On Christmas Day

I turned down the lights
And the music slowly playing
I know why
Why our love grow and grow
I don’t have
I just don’t have all the answers
So I’ll keep wishing
I’ll keep wishing for you

Christmas is the time of year
For love ones to be near
It isn’t Christmas any more
It wasn’t all the gifts
We shared along the way
It was you that I wished for
Oh, On Christmas Day
