Biography

Pattern Crash has been busy writing and perfecting their songs in preparation to head into the studio and record their debut CD. As they add songs, they take time to do what they love most . . . . playing live at some of Philly’s best venues. Their live show is high energy and gets the audience moving. They are a band that loves to put a smile on your face and make you rock out!
Coming off of the Parkesburg Summerfest show, they have played at The Legendary Dobbs, and The Grape Room. Dobbs loved their performance, and invited them back to play on Friday October 26th on the main stage!
The band was formed in the summer of 2012 and is made up of Ralph Ashe (Lead Vocals), Matt Eltringham (Guitar/vocals), Jim Carlson (Bass), Billy Ashe (Keyboard /vocals), and Josh Padgett (Drums). All of the band members have had years of experience and bring great song writing, dynamics, and feeling to their music. Notably, Ralph Ashe had previously worked with and recorded an album with Grammy Award winning artist/producer/songwriter R. Kelly, and had been signed to a major record deal with Interscope Records. Matt Eltringham had studied with guitar virtuoso Greg Howe, and appeared in Guitar Player Magazine in 2007. Mixing Ralph’s soulful vocals with guitar oriented rock music creates a unique style, and sets this band apart. Their influences include Band of Skulls, Muse, Chris Cornell, STP, Alter Bridge, Red Hot Chili Peppers, just to name a few.
Pattern Crash is excited to be working on their new CD! You can get updates on progress with our recording sessions, dates for shows, listen to some demos, and see photos at www.reverbnation.com/patterncrash.
