Bio

Patti Walsh’s songwriting has stemmed from depicting journeys of her triumphs and tragedies. Life experiences have taught this singer/songwriter some lessons as well. These have been dramatized in “Old Fashioned Alternative Girl”, portraying life as a single mother who never wanted to loose her rock and roll edge to digging in the past with “Lost Child” revealing the heartache of losing a child.

The love of music started early when Patti got her first guitar at the age of 13 and admittedly it sat in closet while college and adulthood occurred, but her love for the guitar has never died. In recent years Patti has dug deep with influential musicians that have crossed her musical path to create her own style. Patti is symbolically headed in the direction of soulful style old acoustic blues with folk songs samplings from both Elizabeth Cotton and the contemporary rock of Sheryl Crow.

Patti believes herself to be the Erin Brokovich of Rock and Roll holding furious and fast to her principles yet gearing towards moving music and lyrics with her songs that so many in her audience can relate to. She has the blues in her soul and the emotion to transcend it with her music.

Patti Walsh has been playing at various Open Mic stages and Gigs in the Chicagoland area where many of her contemporaries have launched into successful careers. With a positive attitude and a mind full of music and lyrics, embarkment on a full-fledged music career is the ultimate goal with Patti Walsh. Notably she is a member of both NSAI and Windy City Songwriters Association.
