"Blee has a fathomless measure being able to go from a breathy, sensuous whisper to stratospheric levels, gathering octaves like small flowers along the way till she reaches areas normally occupied by angels, beautiful indeed" - Greg Roberts

"Patty Blee's CD, Disguise, is a crossover hit waiting to happen. The songs speak country and rock in a fun, and moving way. Her songs are honest and sincere. They stick out like, "Soul Dancing", and "I Believe In This Love." They are touching perspectives on relationships. Blee is destined for something bigger and better with this album. "

- FEMMUSIC.COM

"...Blee starts off “From the Inside” sounding like our drinking buddy and ends it by sounding like an angel...."

- Dennis Mersmann

..."Patty Blee (acoustic guitar) is at her best on songs like "Till I Get Enough" (cool a.g. and backwater vibe) and "Cry" (great country tune)..." - Music Scene: Night Grooves

..."Disguise is masterfully produced and filled with dynamic instrumentation, full bass lines and soulful vocals. Patty has a smooth powerful voice and she sings with passion, visual songs about love and life, a magical blend of blues, folk, country and rock. Patty Blee and company are a formidable force and hopefully her music will be revealed to a large listening audience..."

- Laura Turner Lynch

"...Blee has a grittier, more rugged approach than Colvin and doesn't get into the type of girlish, waif-like singing that Jewel and Suzanne Vega are known for..."

- ALEX HENDERSON

."Disguise is well-executed, without a doubt; if there's any justice its radio-friendly sound should get airplay. Blee's performance is excellent and her supporting cast does a great job..."

- JENNIFER HANSON

"Blee shows she has the talent to be a premiere country singer"

- STEPHANIE HILL

"Powerful acoustic americana album. I love every song on it"
- "ACOUSTIC VIBE"

"Patty Blee's soulful fusion of blues, folk, and country music are featured on her latest EP, From the Inside. With inspiration drawn from her travels from coast to coast, Blee's previous two albums, Disguise and Acoustic Vibe, have earned her acclaim and some have likened her style to icons such as Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow. The husky, yet heartfelt voice of Blee carries throughout the six tracks, yet each song shows a different side of Blee's talent. The first two tracks play up Blee's honky-tonk inspirations with quick drum beats and strong guitar riffs. The title song, "From the Inside," has a perfect Texas two-step rhythm and up-tempo beat. The EP then progresses to more folk-influenced tracks with "Bank of Jericho" and "Long Time Coming." These tracks show Blee's more blues-inspired lyrics and melodies, and have an almost haunting tone.

The final track, "Never Gonna Go," showcases the range of Blee's incredible voice. A sweet serenade ends the EP with clear and powerful notes that show a softer, more fragile side of the sultry adventuress. Blee credits her music influences to, "acoustic-based singer-songwriters - writers who display incredible courage by what they reveal of themselves." Blee seems to display incredible courage herself, with six tracks about love, loss, and everything in-between" - Kayla Heinen

If you can imagine Sheryl Crow meeting Bonnie Raitt in a corner bar as they kick back a few cold ones with Lucinda, then you'll have no problem envisioning PATTY BLEE pulling up a stool and fitting right in.
Her husky voice, confessional songs and rootsy sound have earned her numerous comparisons to such artists. Displaying a distinctive guitar style full of bass lines and grooves, Patty intertwines memorable melodies into mid and uptempo songs of love and longing. A wide range of influences are evident in her musical pallet-- blues, folk, celtic, country, and rock.

This year she celebrates the release of her new EP, "FROM THE INSIDE", 6 tracks of pure heart and soul, memorably solidified by a strong and unmistakable voice surrounded by some of the finest americana musicians around. This release is a refreshing look at a genre that increasingly knows no bounds, inspired by her travels from coast to coast and heart to heart...co-produced with Eric Corne, 4 of the tracks were recorded at Mad Dog Studios: Burbank, CA.

Patty Blee (vocals and acoustic guitar)
Dave Raven (drums) {Lucinda Williams, Mike Ness, Jewel, Jim Lauderdale}
Taras Prodaniuk (bass) {Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam}
Chris Lawrence (lead guitar, pedal steel) {Mike Ness, Shooter Jennings}
Carl Byron (keys) {Spencer Davis, Michelle Shocked, Warren Zevon}
Doug Pettibone (electric guitars) {Mark Knopfler, Elvis Costello, Lucinda}
Bliss (background vocals)

The other 2 at Cadence Studio, NJ:
Ernie Trionfo on electric and acoustic lead guitars
Blue Eagle on drums
Rich Kurtz on bass
Bliss on background vocals

Patty's previous recordings include her Treasure Records debut "DISGUISE" released in 2003. It is a testament to her work that she was able to assemble an all-star cast to help record her songs. Co-produced by Randy Friel (BeauSoleil) and Richard Crooks (Dylan, Dr. John) at Scullville Studios in NJ, mixed by legendary recording engineer Shelly Yakus (John Lennon, The Band, Tom Petty), "DISGUISE" is sure to have a permanent spot in any aficionado's collection. The stellar group of talent behind Patty includes Bob Dylan band regulars Larry Campbell on guitar and Tony Garnier on bass, with Richard Crooks on drums. John Hammond Jr. makes a guest appearance on harmonica as well as Augie Meyers (Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Doug Sahm) on accordion. Even violinist / vocalist Soozie Tyrell (Bruce Springsteen) lends a hand.

"In short, I was knocked out.," said Peter North, Music Director of CKUA (Edmonton, Canada)

The Atlantic City Press said the "DISGUISE" displayed, "wonderfully written and crafted songs." and was chosen 17 in their list of the top 50 CD releases for the year.

A pivotal stepping stone in Patty's run of success was her performance at the 2002 Appel Farm Music and Arts Festival (NJ) alongside the likes of Jackson Browne and Jonatha Brooke as well as an appearance on the renowned "Folk Show" on WXPN in Philadelphia with Gene Shay.

Patty's next release, "ACOUSTIC VIBE", is a collection of stripped down acoustic arrangements of songs from "DISGUISE" as well as a batch of new, emotionally revealing songs. A representation of how she is most comfortable...just her and her guitar. As Blee told Atlantic City Weekly, she has always been inspired by "acoustic-based singer-songwriters - artists who display incredible courage by what they reveal of themselves."

"Songs written by the blood of the heart appeal to me"...with that in mind, give Patty's music a listen and understand what everyone is raving about.
