I am a Gospel Lyrics Writer and I have one of my songs out there... called "Children of the world, I dedicate this song to you".... the singer and composer of my lyric is Lawanda Rowanda... she will tour at the end of this year with my song included.

Biography

I write about what is happening in current affairs and put the Gospel of Jesus inside the song... stating that if you look towards and accept Him, you too, can go to Heaven to be with Him and the other believers, (saints), such as yourselves.

Oh, Lord, our God, What Can We Do?

Oh, Lord, our God, What Can We Do?

Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
How can we stop the suffering down in the South?
We must spread The Word, Christ Jesus.
We must tell the people that they are not alone
And not forgotten, Oh, our Lord, Prince of Peace.

Lord, we simply cannot afford to do absolutely nothing.
We just have to reach out and basically do something
We must now band together and be giving.
We should give of ourselves, give money, and prayers
Give clothes, and food plus give something to share.

Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
A million plus their beloved pets, way down in the South.
Are still without homes, food, and now displaced.
Still strong in spirit, they’ll need an answer most haste.
The million are still needy, please feed their mouths.

The good and bad are the same down there
In this tragedy, we should not let them down, amen?
They are the people who are still there
And misplaced. Our Lord, it is now a serious disgrace.
And it’s taken awhile to give aid to come down.

Oh, Lord, our God, what can we do?
I say, too many people died down there in the South.
Others still living from hand to mouth.
And indeed, we must now spread The Word, Christ Jesus.
Lord, always be with us, be here for us.

May God be with and comfort the suffering
And the many people who are doing the volunteering
May God Bless them and America, Amen!!

"We are not Afraid"

Written By: Patty Hunter

A song about the Terrorists in London and elsewhere.

Lyrics by Patty Hunter

Edited by Bob Hunter

“We are not Afraid”

The song rang throughout the lands: “We are not Afraid”.
The people of Earth came together, strong in voice, hand in hand,
“We are not Afraid”. That song will be with them forever
God will always be with the innocents forever and ever.
We will find the terrorists who masterminded this dastardly deed.
But we should take heed and not let our heads go and lead
Us into doing the same thing the killers had done to them.
For each of the Terrorists shall not go to Heaven.
“We are not Afraid”, the World cried. “We are not Afraid”.

“We are not Afraid”, was the cry of all the people on this sphere
People must get together, help each other overcome this fear.
May God be with his children forever, God wants us to say:
“We are not Afraid”. Oh, please Earth, please pray to our
God in Heaven and only He can save the people from such hate
For in Him alone, we put our faith. “We are not Afraid”.
For our God in Heaven is the saving Grace and in Him alone
Because of that we will go and have eternal life,
For without our God, we will live in strife, damned forever.

“We are not Afraid”, the Word is amongst us, Jesus is his Name.
Don’t be afraid of Him, this is not a game. He is here and alive
We have nothing to hide from Jesus, our King of Kings and
Lord of Lords. And because of Him, we shall sing loudly:
“We are not Afraid”. For the terrorists are cowardly and low.
We must stop this continuing hate and strife amongst us.
The only way out of this mess is our Lord and Loving Jesus.
May the Earth in all of its Splendor say again:
“We are not Afraid”, trust in God and live forever. Amen.

The Earthquake that rocked Asia

Written By: Patty Hunter

The Earthquake that rocked Asia

Main:

The tsunami that swept throughout the East
Was ranting and raving like a savage Beast
Many people were taken from the land
This is when they needed God’s Mighty Hand
It was the earthquake that did the deed
Where are the people now, where indeed?

Chorus:

The earthquake that rocked Asia
Oh, lost souls that were taken this day
They didn’t know the debt Christ came to pay
Because for our sins He came to save us
Without Him, our souls would be in crisis

Main:

God, please help the wretched and the suffering,
The poor and children who are left behind.
For this we come together and sing:
“Oh, come and give them peace of mind.”
Abba, Our Father, hear us, Mighty King,
Without You, the people won’t have anything.

Chorus:

The earthquake that rocked Asia
Oh, lost souls that were taken this day
They didn’t know the debt Christ came to pay
Because for our sins He came to save us
Without Him, our souls would be in crisis

Main:

Horror on the peoples’ faces can’t be erased
This is something the world has to face
We must get together in this world
Oh, come, let us follow the righteous Word
We need You, now and forever, Sire
We must go boldly through the fire

Chorus:

The earthquake that rocked Asia
Oh, lost souls that were taken this day
They didn’t know the debt Christ came to pay
Because for our sins He came to save us
Without Him, our souls would be in crisis

Verse:

I've seen the things that you've been through

Oh child we're not blind

There's someone watching over you

He's with you all the time

Sometimes he send his angels

He's been known to use mankind

To deliver all the helpless ones

You're precious in his eyes

Chorus:

Children of the World

I dedicate this song to you

Neglected and Abused

Helpless and confused

The father sees your plight

Through Jesus' name he'll rescue you

For broken hearted ones he fights

You're precious in his eyes

Verse:

You hate these things that you do

Someone did the same to you

You can't fight these demons

When they start haunting you

Pray to our God,

For you are not alone

Pray for his forgiveness

You're precious in his eyes

Chorus:

Children of the World

I dedicate this song to you

Neglected and Abused

Helpless and confused

The father sees your plight

Through Jesus' name he'll rescue you

For broken hearted ones he fights

You're precious in his eyes
