“I have been playing music all of my life and Pat Waters is one of the best country acts that I have ever seen!! The Real Deal!! It has been a total pleasure doing shows with Pat.” - Randall Hall

"Nashville City Paper"

“There’s always lots of talk about what constitutes “real” country, and much of it usually centers on lyric enunciation, lyric content and musical backing/production. But there’s also an attitude inherent in classic country music, a sense of honesty and integrity that comes across in a manner that people who really love the music immediately identify, and those who truly perform it embody in their work. That’s the case with every song on Pat Waters’ Right Where I Belong.” - Ron Wynn

"Contributor, About.com"

“In my opinion, Pat Waters could rank right up there with greats like Alan Jackson and George Strait if given the chance and promoted as much as other mainstream artists.” - Jennifer Webb

"MD/PD KBCY, Abilene, TX"

“I get tons of CDs in the mail every week and every now and then I come across one that makes me smile. I love Country music, Texas and Texas Country and the new CD from Pat Waters has taken what I love and put it all out there. Pat’s CD is chocked full of Country and Texas music that is Daytime Friendly for Country Radio stations across the state and great for people looking for the best bang for their buck when shopping for tunes and concerts.” - JB Cloud

"PD, KYOX 94.3 FM The Ox"

"It's hard to believe Pat could follow up ‘Badly Bent’ so well, but he's DONE IT AGAIN! We love ‘Texas Tears and Mexican Beer’, great follow up that we love playing here on The Ox" - Pam Niblett

Bio

Pat Waters is Country Music!  Growing up in Bridgeport, Texas, his music reflects wholesome upbringing, strong family values, hard work and a sense of friend loyalty.  His music is an extension of his life experiences.

Pat's music career began in the same manner as many other artists, playing in local VFW's, opry houses and small clubs.  The moment he realized his talent for stirring the emotions of the crowd, he was hooked on live performances.  From those early beginnings, Pat has recorded nine CD's and has had numerous Texas radio hits.  Pat’s music, stage presence and personality is often compared to Country Music Legends George Strait and Alan Jackson.

Pat, along with his multi-talented “Chainlink Band,” have entertained crowds all over southern America.  He remains very popular in Europe after scoring a #1 hit “I Knew,” in 2003.  The powerful and popular song earned him the 2003 “Texas Male Vocalist of the Year.”

Pat has shared the stage with country music legends Merle Haggard, John Conlee, Johnny Bush, Gary Stewart, Keith Whitley, Gary P. Nunn and many others.  He has opened and co-headlined with several Texas artists such as Josh Abbott, Stoney LaRue, Brandon Ryder, Jason Boland, Cody Johnson, Roger Creager, and many others.  He has also toured as the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd!

Pat Waters is the “National Spokesperson for America’s Drug Free Promotions,” (501c 3, non-profit organization) traveling to school districts throughout the Southwest performing and visiting with youth about the dangers of illicit drugs, teen bullying, teen suicide and the abuse of alcohol.  “Today’s students are our country’s future.  It is my aim to help steer them in the right direction using music and statistical facts,” said the lanky Texan.

Talking about Pat’s music, “There’s always lots of talk about what constitutes “real” country, and much of it usually centers on lyric enunciation, lyric content and musical backing/production.  There’s also an attitude inherent in classic country music, a sense of honesty and integrity that comes across in a manner that people who really love the music immediately identify, and those who truly perform it embody in their work,” said Mr. Ron Wynn of the Nashville City Paper.
