Pat Waters is Country Music! Growing up in Bridgeport, Texas, his music reflects wholesome upbringing, strong family values, hard work and a sense of friend loyalty. His music is an extension of his life experiences.
Pat's music career began in the same manner as many other artists, playing in local VFW's, opry houses and small clubs. The moment he realized his talent for stirring the emotions of the crowd, he was hooked on live performances. From those early beginnings, Pat has recorded nine CD's and has had numerous Texas radio hits. Pat’s music, stage presence and personality is often compared to Country Music Legends George Strait and Alan Jackson.
Pat, along with his multi-talented “Chainlink Band,” have entertained crowds all over southern America. He remains very popular in Europe after scoring a #1 hit “I Knew,” in 2003. The powerful and popular song earned him the 2003 “Texas Male Vocalist of the Year.”
Pat has shared the stage with country music legends Merle Haggard, John Conlee, Johnny Bush, Gary Stewart, Keith Whitley, Gary P. Nunn and many others. He has opened and co-headlined with several Texas artists such as Josh Abbott, Stoney LaRue, Brandon Ryder, Jason Boland, Cody Johnson, Roger Creager, and many others. He has also toured as the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd!
Pat Waters is the “National Spokesperson for America’s Drug Free Promotions,” (501c 3, non-profit organization) traveling to school districts throughout the Southwest performing and visiting with youth about the dangers of illicit drugs, teen bullying, teen suicide and the abuse of alcohol. “Today’s students are our country’s future. It is my aim to help steer them in the right direction using music and statistical facts,” said the lanky Texan.
