Bio

Pau Viguer, jazz pianist and composer born in Valencia. He begun totudying piano at age 7. He earned the top grade of piano at the Conservatory of Valencia. Also studied classical piano with Jesus Debon, Jatrebska Quinn and Anna Rita Wagner.
He studied jazz pianists Valencia Ricardo Belda and Donato Marot. In turn, he took courses with Xavi Folch, Ximo Tebar, with New York John Serry and Robert Rodriguez (turn pianist Chick Corea). It has belonged to many groups of modern music, as Fernando Poo, Mala Fama, controversy or Brooklyn, winning several awards in Valencia. He has appeared on television playing live music and has written songs for many singers, radio wedges, etc. He toured Spain with the "Revolver" group. Currently performs concerts with Cuban group So, Elena Martin Trio and leads the group Pau Viguer Trio, which includes formation composed by himself, topics and he has edited two records; "Walk for Life" (Millenia, 2008) , "Arena" (Comboi Records, 2011) and the last one “Implosion” (2013).
It is also accompanist of singers and instrumentalists as many Cristina Blasco, Katy Rodriguez, Elena Martin or Mac McKoy.
He currently works as a specialist music teacher in primary education while he teaches classical and modern piano and continues composing and performing live concerts.
