Bio
In the fall of 2007 Paul Andrew (keyboardist/sideman in NYC bands for many years) was commissioned to form a big advertising agency rock band for the "Pharmapalooza Battle of the Bands" held at BB King's Club in NYC. Paul fronted "Pharmatopia" the band of over 20 advertising agency professionals (amateur or semi-pro musicians) he gathered for the big gig. From out of this large group grew a new, original (and now, professional) band called: The Liquor Talking. With original songs written by Paul Andrew (Lyrics to one song: Art Deco Woman, by John Fallon), The Liquor Talking's creates a unique blend of piano-based rock that takes on a unique jazz-like flair when the alto or soprano sax of Jeffery Wayne Hughes, the Guitar (and sometimes, Bass) of Ed Orgera, along with backing vocals from Fiona O'Donnell mix with Paul's piano/hammond organ/fender rhodes. (All members of The Liquor Talking remain Madmen (and women) working at their same advertising agency in NYC while performing at night and weekends as The Liquor Talking). The result is "a rollicking good time" as our friend and fellow Rocker Craig Greenberg has said -- he even put it on his website!
