Born in Canada, raised in India, influenced from time spent in Japan, Cuba and the Middle East, Paul has been influenced by music from around the world. Paul has trained with teachers in Canada, Cuba, South India, New York and Los Angeles. A student of some of the most sought after drum set artists of our times he is a true artist and performer in every sense.
Fresh and original, this global musical journey is comprised of a myriad of styles: Jazz, Pop, R&B, Samba, Electronica, Afro Cuban, Middle Eastern, South Indian Karnatic music and more! Paul’s self-produced debut album is raking in impressive reviews while people continue to get caught up and groove to his infectious rhythms at his concerts.
A true multi-cultural experience combining percussion and dance, his incredibly high-energy shows are marked with authentic dances, intense drum duets and fiery solos. Paul takes you on a journey with songs in English, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Spanish weaving in and out of authentic styles effortlessly. Paul has put together a phenomenal dance band unlike any other, fusing elements of world culture, language and a plethora of dance styles ranging from afro-cuban, reggaeton to funk and straight ahead disco.
Paul has had extensive experience touring and was part of a 13 city national tour of China. He performed at some of China’s finest concert halls and had the honor of performing for the Ambassador of Canada in China. In Japan, Paul was part of an international band comprising of members from 4 different continents. This band made it to the finals of the famous Japan Emergenza festival in 2008. Paul has opened for Cuban band Maraca and Los Angeles band Los Lobos.
What makes Paul stand out is not only the fact that he is a world-class drummer but he has a gift for drawing people in with his voice and his stage presence. His music has been showcased on CBC
National Television (Canada) and has received significant airplay on Canadian radio, including CBC Radio 2. Performing in a variety of settings, Paul has entertained in Canada, China, Japan and India and continues to inspire people wherever his music takes him.

Paul has been showcased in the April/May issue of "Global Rhythm" magazine. His song "Take Me" was part of the compilation CD that accompanies the magazine.
