For already 10 years Pavel “Paul B” has been working on drum & bass scene and is well-known to all Russian underground massive. He achieved the recognition of the hugest names on the arena, collaborated with world-famous British and USA labels, travelled all over the world with numerous tours. A successful man is successful in every field, so Paul B continues his music experiments – now that with live music….
In 2009 Paul is on stage with his completely new, exceptional live project. Masterful vocal improvisations by the band’s frontman Artem Popoff in addition to saxophone by young acknowledged musician Anastasia Boguslavskaya and Vasily Kislyakov’s groovy bass altogether fill up Paul’s atmospheric tracks with pure jazz variations, and Paul himself works with the sampler and keyboards, also performing back vocals.
Paul B & The Band represents the original synthesis of tempting live vocal electronics with funk, funky house and elements of atmospheric drum & bass, acquired its very special inimitable color: this all together results in an exciting musical experience with an ability to stir all the emotions of most discerning listener.
The band appears as the remarkable and outstanding event at the joint of electronic and live music which is rare not only in Moscow, but worldwide as well.
