Bio
Paul Fowler is a composer, vocalist, pianist, and improviser. Described by the New York Times as radiant, ghostly, and shimmering," his concert works have been performed at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center and the National Concert Hall of Taiwan among others and have received the First Music Award, ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award and Swan Composer Award (Honorable Mention). As a popular musician he has performed at New Orleans JazzFest, Ecuadors AquaZero Festival and on Japanese television. At his home in Boulder, he produces recordings for local artists, teaches at Naropa University, and is currently composing an opera.
