Paul Hadfield & The Tucker Hollow Band are based out of Chattanooga, TN. Paul is originally from western Kentucky and the band hails from north Georgia.
Paul has been writing songs for over a decade. He spent years performing solo as a singer/songwriter. Over the years, he formed and played in a couple of different bands, experimenting with styles and influences, but always returning the sound he loves best - the American Sound - defined by big guitars, banging drums, and screaming fiddles, rooted in country, rock, and the blues.
Paul's first big break came in 2006 when he caught the attention of Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells, who has had a long career in a variety of roles in Nashville, TN, producing American icons like Dolly Parton. Paul and Kent began their working relationship in 2006 with some demo's recorded at Kent Well's studio in Nashville. Both went their separate ways and then were reunited in 2010. At that time, Paul and Kent combined forces to record Paul's debut EP, Our Lives, at The Sound Kitchen in Franklin, TN, which has been a migration point for many major recording artists, including the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Chicago, and a whole host of country artists. The album highlights the tracks "What Yer Lookin' For" and "Lives Like Water," which clearly display Paul's strong songwriting and highlight his vocal ability.
Our Lives was completed and released in the summer of 2011. Paul was featured in a hometown publication, Paducah Life, along with Larry Stewart of Restless Heart as an example of an artist "on his way."
Since the release of Our Lives, Paul moved to Chattanooga, TN, formed a new band, and has been performing in support of the album at celebrated venues in Nashville like 12th & Porter and 3rd & Lindsley, regular stopping points for national touring acts. Paul and the Tucker Hollow Band have also made their way down to the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta, GA and are currently expanding their reach throughout the Southeast. Paul is currently self-producing a new album with the Tucker Hollow Band and plans are in the works for a new album produced once again by Kent Wells!
