Paulina Jayne

Paulina Jayne, at just twenty years old, is already a fast-rising urban country singer/songwriter who has been writing with hit songwriters and performing in high profile venues and events since age 14, cutting her first record in Nashville during her freshman year of high school.  Now a resident of Nashville attending Belmont University, she has furthered her catalog of original songs in writing rooms with Shane McAnally, Trey Bruce, JTX, Bonnie Baker, Steph Jones, Bobby Tomberlin, Josh Matheny, Lauren Miller, Grant Vogelfanger and Danny Orton.  Recently, Paulina has been sent to nine publishing companies in Nashville, including Universal Music Group, Sony ATV, Warner Chappell, Blackriver Entertainment, This Music, Razor & Tie, Sea Gayle Music and Big Yellow Dog. 

This Detroit girl with an urban country music edge has caught the attention of nationally respected producers, including multi Emmy Award Winner Trey Bruce with whom she is currently an artist in production and multi Grammy Award Winner Toby Wright.

With more than 150 performances in high school alone, Paulina has had the honor of opening for renowned country musicians Sheryl Crow, Chase Rice, Kellie Pickler, Frankie Ballard, Brothers Osbourne, Sam Hunt, Jerrod Niemann, and Ty Stone, among others. She also headlined to full houses for Live Nation’s Road to Faster Horses Series in Detroit (twice!) and the internationally renowned Traverse City Film Festival before an audience of 15,000. Among her many other highlights, Paulina and her band played in the Faster Horses festival line-up for the second time. And for the 4th consecutive year, Paulina and her band performed at WYCD’s Downtown Hoedown in June 2015.  Paulina is now frequently playing in several writer's rounds in Nashville and will be headlining The Country on March 20th, 2016.

Performing her own music, Paulina has also shared the marquee with legendary country music artists including Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Hunter Hayes, Blackberry Smoke, and Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton at The Gorge in Live Nation’s Watershed festival.  In addition, Paulina has appeared on live web stream concerts as well as numerous radio and television programs, and she has been a regular featured performer for 99.5 WYCD Young Country’s Nashville in the Neighborhood series and NASH FM’s Countryfest.

Paulina’s first record was produced at Oceanway Studios in Nashville and Rustbelt Studios in metro Detroit.  She collaborated with musicians such as Audley Freed (The Black Crowes, Peter Frampton, Jimmy Paige, Aerosmith, Sheryl Crow, Dixie Chicks); Keith Gattis (Dixie Chicks); Robert Kearns (Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sheryl Crow); Fred Eltringham (k.d. lang and Sheryl Crow) and Jen Gunderman (Professor of Rock and Roll Music at Vanderbilt University).

Paulina released her first EP Girl Who Would Be King during her junior year of high school.  She has since been producing with Trey Bruce, honing her unique country sound with 2014 releases, He Doesn’t Know It Yet, Hello Saturday Night, Fist Pump and Take It Easy.  In January of 2016, she released her song, Going Going Gone, produced by Trey Bruce! And there is much more music to come this year!
