Pauline Alexander is an amazing new musical find for me, her debut CD is called THOUGHTS FOR THE MASSES, it has 9 tracks including a couple of covers and does exactly what it says on the cover, it makes you think and listen, and come back for more.
Pauline hails from Glasgow, is very gifted, and for one so young has an incredibly mature approach to her recording and singing, her voice being gentle, smooth as silk and falls softly upon the waiting ear, and I’m sure it is only a matter of time before she is discovered and is whisked away to fame and fortune. As with all excellent CD’s, your favourite track changes with each play and this CD is no exception, my current favourite is BROKEN YOUTH but yesterday it was WHERE LUCIFER LINGERS, tomorrow who knows, what I do know if that I will be playing this CD for quite a while to come, and will continue to be featured on my FOLK SHOW.
Check Pauline out on her myspace page. www.myspace.com/paulinealexander and you will see what great Christmas stocking filler this CD would make for your discerning musical friends and family.

Bio
Pauline Alexander is a Scottish Singer-Songwriter based in Glasgow. Her music is extremely easy on the ear and encompasses Easy Listening, Folk or Acoustic elements. She cites Eva Cassidy, Joan Baez or Karen Carpenter as her main influences which does little to surprise as she bears more than a passing similarity to the former but distinctly different enough to be a real alternative offering.
There are a growing band of radio stations playing her music at home or abroad. She was recently the recommended album of the week on BBC Radio Scotland with Iain Anderson. Something that was echoed by the listeners of Revival FM on Iain Arbuckle's radio show when they nominated her their favourite artist of the week .
Pauline's music is one of unpretentious realness. To discover it is to be moved by the pure unadulterated way that vocals should be sung.
