If there’s one thing Pauli Pettit is not afraid of, it’s honesty. Like some of the great singer songwriters before her, Pauli has the ability to bring you in to her heart and keep you there while she muses on tales of love, loss and heartache.
Born and raised in Philidelphia, PA Pauli discovered her love of music and the arts at the tender age of six and never looked back. She began with musical theater performing in Gypsy, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Sound Of Music to name a few. But her destiny would truly be fulfilled when she was given her signature Gibson Hummingbird Guitar at age 12. Pulling from her early influences Eva Cassidy and Rikki Lee Jones, Pauli began crafting her sound one memory at a time. After Playing the 2000 Democratic Convention in Philadelphia and graduating from Ashland University Pauli then headed to New York City to focus on her music full time. Shortly after she was offered a contract with Sony Music, refusing to compromise the integrity of her music the partnership was short lived and it was off to Los Angeles for more soul searching. Since then Pauli has been playing the circuit in Los Angeles tirelessly, building a solid fan base and wowing audiences where ever she goes with her brand of caffeinated tales from the road of sorrow. In the vein of greats like Kris Kristofferson, Ryan Adams and Fiona Apple, Pauli has a poet’s heart and a raconteurs’ sensibility.
