No Snow

Written By: Paul Jamieson

No Snow !!

Way up north near a Queensland town
There’s a place that’s hard to reach
A big red sleigh comes through the clouds
And glides along the beach
All the reindeer have a rest
And splash around for fun
And Santa takes his boots off
And enjoys the midday sun

Ho ho, no snow
Sunshine, feels fine
Boots on, ho ho
It’s back to work we go

Santa really love’s it here
It makes a lovely change
Not to have those snowflakes
Blowing in your face
The big red sleigh comes through the clouds
The same time every year
And when they see the beach again
They all let out a cheer (hooray)

Ho ho, no snow
Sunshine, feels fine
Boots on, ho ho
It’s back to work we go
(repeat chorus).

When Santa got back to the pole
He had a sunburnt nose
So naturally, Mrs Clause asked him where he goes
There’s a little place we go
It’s in the land downunder
The sun shines in the Christmas time
It really is a wonder !!

Chorus….

Reindeer On My Roof

Written By: Paul Jamieson

Reindeer On My Roof

There’s a reindeer on my roof
There’s a reindeer on my roof
Little bells are jingling
There’s a reindeer on my roof
Maybe he got lost
Maybe he got loose
Santa left without him
There’s a reindeer on my roof

Someone driving past, early Christmas day
Stopped and rang our doorbell, we said “please go away”
But then we saw a big crowd, standing at the fence
Pointing at our rooftop, and waving with their hands

There’s a reindeer on my roof
There’s a reindeer on my roof
Little bells are jingling
There’s a reindeer on my roof
Maybe he got lost
Maybe he got loose
Santa left without him
There’s a reindeer on my roof

I went and got a blanket and a nice hot cup of tea
I gave him my old beanbag and a funny book to read
We passed him up some cake, he said he hurt his hoof
He needs a bit more rest, there’s a reindeer on my roof

Chorus (There’s a reindeer …..)

We made a call to Santa, but his answering machine was on
He probably won’t be home, ‘till all the toys are gone
And so we left a message that everything’s alright
The reindeer will be comfy, if he has to spend the night

Chorus….

Nearly Christmas

Written By: Paul Jamieson

It's nearly Christmas
I just can't wait
To see you walking
Through my front gate
The sun is shining
But I'm feeling blue
My heart is restless
What can I do
There is no greater gift I know
No song can lift me up so high
I'd walk a million miles through snow
To see the colour of your eyes

It's nearly Christmas
That time of year
The sounds of laughter
And joyful tears
The streets are crowded
But I feel alone
I just can't wait
Until you get home

There is no greater gift I know
No song can lift me up so high
I'd walk a million miles through snow
To see the colour of your eyes

It's nearly Christmas
It's nearly Christmas
