Bio
I am a 54 year old American guitarist, singer, performer and professional Songwriter and I live in the San Francisco, California bay area.
I write mostly in the Folk and Country style, but I also play fingerstyle Blues and Ragtime guitar. What I enjoy most is writing songs. I began playing the guitar at the age of 10 and then went on to study the Classical Guitar. In an evolutionary manner, I’ve taken the study of Classical guitar and applied it to my original material and some of the arrangements of traditional music.
In 2004 I had the opportunity to perform at the Old Time Country & Bluegrass Festival. I’ve been performing for about 24 years in a variety of coffee-houses, restaurants, open-mike’s and charity venues. Some of the places that I have performed are: The Landing, The Spotted Hog, Havannah’s, all of which are in New Hope, PA. Khyber Pass in Philadelphia, PA.
This past year, I’ve been sending my original material to some of the various songwriting contests. Now that I’ve played at 1 festival, I wish to continue to perform at other various festivals or songwriting events around the country. What compels me to pursue this, is my love of music and people and my wish to perform for a larger audience.
