Bio

Paul Luongo has been performing ever since he was six years old. His father, Peter Luongo - director of the internationally renowned Langley Ukulele Ensemble, enrolled him in violin lessons when he was six years old. By the age of sixteen Paul recieved high honours in his Grade 10 Royal Toronto conservatory exam. Sixteen years later, Paul has chosen to continue studying music, particularly the violin, at the post secondary level; moreover, Paul is currently studying at the University of Victoria. In his last semester of university, Paul will graduate with a degree in Music education. Moreover, this degree will enable him to continue doing what he loves most - sharring his knowledge, love, and passion for music. In addition to his studies, in the last year, Paul has started establishing himself as a singer and song writer. With his many performing experiences as a member of the Langley Ukulele ensemble, Paul has taken his experiences to the next level as a solo artist. Recognized as one of Canada's finest ukulele players, Paul incorporates the ukulele as well as the guitar and violin in song writing and performances. He has performed, as a member of the Langley Ukulele Ensemble, at numerous events such as international Rotary conferences (L.A. and New Orleans), ukulele festivals in Hawaii, Japan, and across the continental U.S.A, the Stratford Music Festival, and the Royal International Tattoo.
