There are so many bands out there – kids, mostly – whose idea of hard rock is angry screeching. They don't know how to craft a song, the instrumentation is as sorry as the Violent Femme's one chord in "Blister in the Sun" and their record producers don't know how to fix it up. Such is not the case with Richmond, Virginia's The Deaves.
The leader of The Deaves, Paul Pearce, grew up in West Tennessee and perfected his art in Nashville. The band has the powerful sound that brings back the glory days of Arena Rock. They'd be perfect opening for any of the 80's bands that are touring again.

Bio
Paul Pearce started playing music when he was 6 years old: in front of mirror with a broomstick, listening to WHBQ-AM56 in Memphis. Since then he has backed and recorded with minor rock stars that went on to write big hits and recorded a half dozen records along the way. He plays guitar and has a way with words.
