Paul Roberts

Born in Hobart, Tasmania, I spent my early musical life playing and singing Soul, Country and Bluegrass in various cover bands. A little older and wiser now, I am looking to develop my songwriting and to forge a career in song.
My influences have moved from the pop perfection of The Beatles, The Who, The Jam in my younger days to the earthiness of Neil Young, The Band, Gene Clarke and of course his Bobness. Interestingly I think my songs reflect both these influences in fairly equal parts.
