Lyrics

Run

Written By: Paul Teipe

I ask the man with all the answers,
'Findin' my way back far from home, I want to know why father's gone?'

The man turned, and smiled, and said to me, 'The way things look, they may not seem. That answer be life's mystery.'

Is this all I get for a man with such desperation, as he says, 'Let him Run.'

I asked the man with all the income,
'Findin' my way back far from home, I want to know where all the money's gone...'

The man, turned, and smiled, and said to me, 'Reason and caring, not for me, that answer be life's mystery.'

Is this all I get, for a man with such despration, and he says, 'Let him Run.'

All I wanted was the best for my family and the rest. All I have left now is nothing.

Victim of Circumstance

Written By: Paul Teipe

Bring back my son,
Oh, bring back the love I once had for this world.

Bring back my daughter,
Oh, bring back the love I once had for this world.

'Cuz this love is all I lived for,
'Cuz this loss is something I cannot.

Oh, please don't make me a victim of circumstance,
because all I have left is no chance to make things better.

Bring back my father,
Oh, bring back the love I once had for this world.

Bring back my daughter,
Oh, bring back the love I once had for this world.

Cuz this love is all I lived for,
'Cuz this loss is something I cannot.

Oh, please don't make me a victim of circumstance,
because all I have left is no chance to make things better.
