Pay The Sky

In rare circumstances in life there are individuals who come together and create positive energy through music. Pay the Sky is fortunate enough to contain such positive energy and have members who are fully dedicated to change the world in an uplifting manner through music. In Late March of 08 Andy Dozier a dreamer from Hendersonville, TN met Juan Alonzo another dreamer from the southern hemisphere (Maracaibo, Venezuela). Through a series of fortunate events the two found out that their dreams and goals for music where seemingly the same. Once Andy and Juan began to play together they found out they had a natural creative harmony this led to the early foundation of Pay the sky. With the help of Dozier's guitar teacher Al Ward and Jerry and Shane Gibson (The Gibsons), they recorded a demo through out the summer and early fall of 08. While this was happening They met Sean Lanahan an inspiring drummer from Franklin, TN who held the same vision. Later on in 09 while attending Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) they met Adam Gimenez from Huntsville, AL, who completed the band by adding his skills on the Bass and Vocals. As the four musicans became friends they realized that they needed to pursue their dream of making it in the musical world. This is only the beginning of their young musical journey, but through a simple twist of fate the four of them have realized that dreams can come true, and that the beginning of Pay the sky is only the beginning of a lasting positive musical energy.
