Bio

Ron and Marco met in 2007 and decided to produce their own kind of Americana music, even if they lived 4.000 miles apart; Ron lives in Eden, North Carolina and Marco is from Varese, Italy.

The great ability Marco has in playing banjo, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin and several other instruments, (included Appalachian Autoharp and Dulcimer!), together with Ron's beautiful voice and great songwriting, soon drew the attention of some important critics in US and Europe, and renowned music writer John Einarson named their first album (Bordertown, 2008) his new favorite country rock album!

In 2011 a new album (Lights of Your Party) and a short tour in Italy led many people to start thinking that something new and good was growing in the country rock world!

After he heard "Lights of Your Party", famous singer Rick Roberts, former Flying Burrito Brothers and Firefall leader wrote a letter to Ron:

Ronald,

Your band is the most Irish sounding bunch of Italians I've heard! I just got your package a few days ago and so far I've been stuck on "Lights of Your Party". That is one strong album. It reminds me of some of the really good albums from the '60s and '70s because you're not afraid to stretch your boundaries stylistically. Believe me, I'm going to pay attention to the other two CDs as well, but I've been having trouble letting go of this one. My wife loves it too. I like the original stuff, and you did a bangup job on the covers, particularly "Carolina In My Mind", "Love Hurts" and "Childs Claim To Fame". And "Down In the River To Pray" brought tears to my eyes and chills to my wife. I hear the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and even Burrito Bros. influences. And you're welcome to quote me!

Rick (Roberts)

Driven by such an enthusiasthic response, and thanks to our great Piedmont Brother Mike, from Golden, CO, we had Rick recording on 2 tracks for our new record soon followed by such legends as:

Richie Furay (R'n'R Hall of Fame member, founder of Buffalo Springfield and Poco)

Herb Pedersen (Linda Ronstadt producer, member with Chris Hillman of Desert Rose Band and Hillman & Pedersen)

Jock Bartley (Gram Parsons' Fallen Angels and Firefall)

and Patrick Shanahan (New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band)

This is what is happening on the recordings for ou new album: PBB III
