Bio

P. Diamond was born Bryan Osorio. P. Diamonds' nickname is Popcorn. P. Diamond is of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. He is originally from the Lower East Side, NYC. LL Cool J and Tupac are some of his influences. At the age of 11 P. Diamond wrote his 1st rap called Street Fighter. In 1996, P. Diamond had his first performance at the education alliance talent show. In 2004 Parish Smith from the legendary EPMD allowed P. Diamond to record his first studio record "Seal Team" in Brentwood, Long Island. As Ceo of PYPRecords, P. Diamond has sponsored major events such as the Winter Music Conference in Miami in 2005, The National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City (2006, 07 and 08) and the Mix Show Power Summit in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Las Vegas, Nevada from 2008-2010. Also, P. Diamonds popularity grew when his mix tape sticker appeared in a video game called NBA Street Homecourt(A result of P. Diamonds performance at Ash Park in Phillie). The artist P. Diamond has worked with hip hop great Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs n Harmony. P. Diamond has performed at many events, concerts and venues large and small. Some live performances consist of: Hugh Hefners' Play Boy Mansion in Los Angeles, CA.
-P. Diamond has his own designer clothing line named PYP Logo which appeared on VH1's hit reality sitcom, The "T.O." Show in 2011. P. Diamonds' music has played on radio stations nationwide. In places like Salisbury, MD., Albuquerque, NM., Toronto, CA. Philadelphia, PA. and Reno, NV. Today, P. Diamond is currently working on new material for his new album titled "Living The American Dream".
P. Diamond has sold over 50,000 mix tapes on his own to date.
