In an effort to help people around the country, Peaceful Progressions has embarked on a tour to share beautiful, relaxing music with everyone.
Philadelphia, PA (SchmoeStories) April 10, 2024 – Elise Durling, the owner and director of the music therapy practice, Peaceful Progressions has begun a tour of the United States. Peaceful Progressions, located in Harleysville is a music therapy business dedicated to working with people with autism and younger children. After years of working so intimately with people through music and touching their lives, Elise wanted to share her musical gift with people all over the United States.
“Seeing the look on people’s faces,” said Elise, “seeing how my playing lights up people’s faces, seeing the emotional response that occurs and how calm people are. That’s what makes it worth it. And if I can do that with a few people a week, imagine what I can do on a concert tour.”
Peaceful Progressions will be beginning her tour during the summer of 2024 and will be visiting many major cities including her hometown of Philadephia, PA.

Peaceful Progression's Elise Durling hails from Harleysville, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Elise is a music therapist who enjoys working with younger children and people with autism. As a side project, Elise has taken her practice on the road as a marketing strategy. She describes her music as folk and electronic, he main role models being the likes of Andy Mckee and Gotye. Overall, she wants to share the love and beauty of music with other people around the country.
