Fort Collins' stalwarts and proclaimed mountain lovers, Peace Officer play reggae on a punk tip with plenty of volume. A musically young and raw band, the five members have become happily notorious in the area for playing hard for our partying pleasure. Insurance agents have apparently refused to cover the Sandbar's roof for Thursday's gig.

Bio
Since 2003, Peace Officer has delivered their fat reggae grooves, rock intensity and socially conscious lyrics to enthusiastic audiences from sea level to 10,000 feet in the mountain west and Midwest.
The Fort Collins, Colorado based band blends the sparse, powerful style of early roots reggae with more modern rock, punk, dub and hip hop influences to create a sound that gets people on their feet, keeps them dancing all night, and sends them home scratching their heads.
The band has logged well over 150 shows in the past two years and according to the Vail Daily has become "happily notorious in the area for playing hard for our partying pleasure". Peace Officer enjoys significant radio airplay in the Colorado front range including 88.9 KRFC, 90.5 KCSU, 99.5 KQMT, 102.3 KSMT and the Colorado Wave syndicated on 67 stations around the nation.
