Feeling a bit camera shy

As far as the mind can go back, music has always been Peach Guevara (Clara O’Page) ultimate vice. Growing up in South Western Ontario, music was always the ultimate escape and inspiration to get through small town life. Inspired by her older brother, Toronto musician Scott ‘Hardware’ Harwood, Peach felt music was also her calling. Despite being kindly asked to leave piano lessons at age 5, and was kicked out of school band at age 11 for being a ‘disturbance’, she found her way into making music. Since the age of 6 she has been writing lyrics and at 14 started fiddling with the guitar, at 16 she started writing her own songs. Her song writing helped her process her troubling teen years, recovering from cancer, dealing with a dysfunctional home life, and struggling with substance abuse, all while feeling out of place by the conservative community she was surrounded by. Using hard times as a way to inspire something more beautiful, Peach Guevara's music is raw, honest, and unpolished.

At age 21, after spending a few years in Toronto studying Radio Broadcasting at Humber College, Peach found herself realizing that she'd rather be spending her life performing her own music rather than playing somebody else’s music on the radio. She then dropped out of school and moved out to Vancouver Island on a whim. Peach has moved from Nanaimo to Tofino to Victoria, finding musical inspiration along the way, while also finding a passion for social justice, being directly involved with groups like Greenpeace, Rise and Resist, Council of Canadians, and Wilderness Committee. Today Peach Guevara lives in Montreal Quebec. On March 22nd, 2019 she released her first album ‘Nude’. She is currently working on her 2nd album ‘Feminine Rebellion’, working as a doula, and preparing to tour for 2020.
