Pearls Music

Each of Pearl's songs is a little treasure. Her music takes listeners on a journey of memorable melodies and sweet, soothing, soulful tones, leaving you humming
her tunes long after hearing them. 

Her life experience and emotionally sensitive nature bring a vulnerability to her songs that inspire people to take a deeper look at life. Inspired by both current and classic artists like Ray Lamontagne, Regina Spektor and Etta James, her music is contemporary yet soulful. Her vocals have often been described as a cross between Sarah McLachlan and Adele.

Singing and writing was a passion from a very early age but only recently has she
made it a daily priority. With talent already a given, but eager to pursue a more
concrete foundation, she took up piano lessons practicing 7 hours a day for 6
months and was accepted into one of the coveted spots at Grant MacEwan University
in 2004 where she graduated on the Dean's List.

Shortly afterward, she continued her music pursuits showcasing her talent by playing
original songs at local bars and coffeehouses, writing music for a short animated film
for the Ottawa Film Festival, and singing in a cover band. In order to dedicate herself
fully to her music she recently made a decision to close her raw vegan chocolate
business and is applying her acquired business expertise to drive her music career
forward. She is now immersed completely within a life of music and is dedicating
her time to performing and writing songs for her debut album scheduled for release
in late 2015.
