Peat Brothers

Peat Brothers

BandFolkSinger/Songwriter

The voice of the common man filled with moments of uncommon wisdom. It’s the bark of a hustler, a howl in the darkness, the echoes of an arcade and the laughter of the passerby. Through it all, their sound can best be described as a refreshing ring of truth. Music of an era that hasn't happend yet.

Biography

What would appear to be a couple of wildcards from the North are
really prodigies of that Country. Older brother Nick has made music since the age of eight. His brother Stefan started at the tender age of five, leaving everybody, family included, baffled as to where it all came from. The sights and sounds of their own environment must have had a big part to play in their development. Their poetry comes directly from the heart of the human condition. Their songs are stories full of joy, suffering, hope and humanity. It’s the voice of the common man filled with moments of uncommon wisdom. It’s the bark of a hustler, a howl in the darkness, the echoes of an arcade and the laughter of the passerby. Through it all, their sound can best be described as a refreshing ring of truth. A mixture of reflective music and music of an era that hasn’t happened yet. What they’ve accomplished is a musical world of their own design.
