he story begun early in 2001, when Luciano Sallun and Aquiles Ghirelli got together to produce and compose roving sounds. Soon the two musicians were performing across São Paulos influent cultural scene, giving life to the project Pedra Branca. In 2003, already with a faithfull audience, the group conquered other cities and states. The next step was to enter in WFCs studio to record their debut album, Pedra Branca, which was released one years later, all over Brasil and Europe.
One of the highlights of 2006 was to participate of some TV shows at TV Cultura and TV Gazeta. Pedra Brancas live act at the Skol Beats captivated the press and was also a big hit in terms of public. In august, Sallun and Aquiles made their first international performance at the Boom Festival, in Portugal, where the Europeans were very receptive. The band produced Feijoada Polifônica, their second album, recorded by WFC, distributed in Brazil by the label Lua Music and worldwide distributed by the british company Arabesque.
In 2007, Pedra Branca was invited to perform at the SESC circuit in São Paulos capital and adjacences, Curitiba (PR) and Florianópolis (SC). The band also recorded a live video clip at the Municipal Theater of Santo André. And in association with the Cia de Danças Ltda, debuted at the spectacle Crendices, quem disse?, directed by Ana Bottosso and with Luciano Sallun as musical director. And in 2008, the group have his third album, which was premiere in Boom Festival (Portugal).
