PEELS is an alternative rock band from Brooklyn New York. Their music is a nostalgic blend of late 90s rock mixed with modern influence and sensibilities. They take soaring verbed out vocals singing familiar melodies and blend them into a pool of fuzzed out guitars, aggressive drums, strong bass lines, and sparkling synth hooks to create catchy yet unique songs. You can hear influences ranging from early Weezer to The Smashing Pumpkins while collecting inspiration from current acts such as Broncho and White Reaper to name a few. PEELS consists of Joey Deady on lead vocals and guitar, Jesse Reed on drums, Sean Shannon on bass and backing vocals, and Drake Miller on synth.
