"mkemetal.com - Doomsday 2005"

The opening band was PAWN, or, for those who don't know, Peggy Ann's Worst Nightmare. This band rocked the main stage and was a great way to start this day of metal. The lead singer is a very dynamic performer and really won over the crowd. PAWN was very tight onstage and did well with the space they had available. They have a secondary singer, who also played keys. He came out from behind the keyboard towards the end of the set and belted one out for us. The entire set rocked! - Camille

Discography

Our first cd was recorded in August of 2002 called, "Enough About Us." It was a 9 song cd with two singles called "The One You Wanted" and "Dream" that were played on Razor 94.7 and 107.5 around Wisconsin. In September of 2004 we recorded our latest EP with 4 songs on it including My Life, Ties, Pushing Away, and Empty. Pushing Away is currently being played on Razor 94.7.

Bio

From each emotional lyric to every explosive guitar chord screaming through the speakers, P.A.W.N.'s commitment to its musical integrity is clearly defined. The band's passion can be heard in all aspects of their work-their composing, vocals, and instrumentals. They leave little doubt as to how they want their pieces to be interpreted.
Like most garage bands, P.A.W.N. evolved from different groups of various genres. It took some trial and error to find the right singer for the band. After working with different musicians and singers, the band agreed on the current line up.
P.A.W.N. believes that there amazing stage show and the unique mixture of soft and hardcore music sets them apart from the rest. Add non stop energy to that mix and you have a show that can't be missed.
Some of P.A.W.N's influences are: 36 Crazyfists, As I Lay Dying, Glassjaw, Atreyu, Deftones, The Guffs, and Underoath
