Bio

Pending Vespa is a 4 piece original pop/rock band. The band is led by female vocalist/lyricist Janice Roseberry (25), hailing from Massachusetts. After spending years performing in choirs, musicals, and winning the National Choral Award, she discovered it was more rewarding to write her own music. She was helped by her brother, Andrew Nowak (22) who serves as lead guitarist and backup vocalist. His ascent into music began in choir and jazz band playing trumpet in high school. A good friend introduced him to bass and soon he progressed to guitar. This good friend was Nate Roseberry (28); bassist and husband to Janice. Nate began playing guitar in high school, but found out that bass was his true calling. Rounding out the band is drummer Tim Cole (31) who began playing in jazz bands when he was 12, spending the next 20 years playing many styles including blues, rock, and metal.

Pending Vespa originated over 3 years ago as a cover band led by Janice, Andrew, and Nate. After many shows they decided that they could no longer suppress their musical talents and creativity: they needed to write original music. Soon they discovered that there was an electric musical chemistry between the brother/sister team. Influenced by rock, pop, and jazz (Our Lady Peace, Avril, Evanescence, Alanis, Sting, Radiohead....an endless list), songs poured out, harmonies blended and music was created. Fortunately, they were able to find an amazing, versatile drummer to compliment this unique sound. After countless hours practicing and numerous nights writing and recording, a year later this talented group has matured into Pending Vespa.

Professionalism, dedication, and the ability to craft catchy songs makes this a band destined to succeed.
