Biography

Who is “Pengea” (pronounced Pen-G-Ah)? A dynamic Rock/Alternative Band with a 25 year old power house as the lead singer, with a voice that’s everything you would want from Stevie Nix – Joan Jett- Sarah McLachlan – Annie Lennox – Amy Lee (Evanescence) to Gwen Stefani (No Doubt).

The band consists of a Lead Singer – Bobbie Wann (Producer, Songwriter, Musician, and Lead Vocalist) who started singing at a very young age and began her professional career at the age of 15 with a band called “Bach”. Bobbie spent seven years with the group before moving to Nashville, TN to start recording her solo project at Entrophy Recording-Sound Check Studio, Lead Guitar – Steve “Stevie Wonderful” Shanks (Producer, Songwriter, Vocalist, Engineer, Guitarist), Bass Guitar – Eric “Shug” Westpy (Bass, Vocalist, Producer, Engineer, Keys), Guitar – David Bugg (Guitar, Songwriter, Vocalist) and Drummer - Chad “Deep Pocket” Bloodworth – (Drummer, Vocalist, Songwriter).

Pengea have graced the stage with several world renown acts and producers including: Creed, Amber, Aerosmith, Survival, Amy Grant, Grand Funk, Jimmy Johnson (Faith Hill), Felix Cavaliere (Rascals), Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac), Cornerstone Band, Three Doors Down, and Bob Thompson of the Eagles.

Now they’re back and “Tearing Down the Wall” as one of their hit singles states, touring and promoting their debut album “Dying” released on “MíLaĴa Records” with one of their hit songs “Part of Me” being part of a marketing campaign for the self help/reference/resource guide book “May – December Winds (And Dorothy You’re Not In Kansas Any More). The book serves as a guide for Teenage Girls who are involved with older guys and those who impact their lives.
