Penny & The Swingin' Cats

"Penny & The Swinging Cats" is a band consisting of 5experienced musicians that was formed in 2009-2010. They have performed in various festivals like the River Party in 2011, the Swing The City Fest in 2011, theFringe Festival in 2011, and more, as well as in Athens' night spots like the Gagarin, Fuzz, Floral, Bacaro, Belafonte, Nueva Trova, Tiki Bar,Life Jazzy Bar, Ginger Ale and others. Moreover performances have been made in cities all over Greece and Greek Islandslike Thessaloniki, Larisa, Lamia, Kalamata, Volos, Elassona, Ioannina,Chalkida, Crete, Santorini, Kos, Kalymnos and more.

Some of the highlight moments ofthe group have been:

• their live performance on the 18th of March 2010 at the "Gagarin" music-hallsupporting Marc Almond,
• their participation at "The Swing Thing" event at "Fuzz" Club on the 21st of November 2011, playing along side one of the best swing-jive bands worldwide, the American.. "Royal Crown Revue",
• their forthcoming support act at Parof’s Stelar Athen’s live gig on the 27nth of April 2012.
